At DuPont, safety is at the core of everything we do. The SafetyFIRST Awards campaign celebrates real safety stories where the right protection and actions made a difference.
What is "DuPont SafetyFIRST Awards"
The DuPont SafetyFIRST Awards program builds on the #SafetyFIRST initiative, which has engaged safety professionals across Asia Pacific for several years. It recognizes individuals committed to making workplaces safer every day.
This award honors real people in real working environments — individuals who demonstrate strong safety awareness, responsibility, and the proper selection and use of protective garments.
Not staged. Not perfect. Just real stories of safety in action.
If you have a story to share — or have witnessed safety in action — we invite you to join the SafetyFIRST movement and inspire others to work safer every day.
Judging Criteria
- Real Work Scenario - Reflects a real work environment with identifiable tasks and safety risks.
- Visibility of Protection - Tyvek® / Tychem® / ProShield® / Tyvek® IsoClean® garments are clearly visible and relevant.
- Protection in Practice - Demonstrates how the garment is used in a real scenario.
- Safety Outcome - Clearly shows how the risk was managed and the outcome achieved
- Clear and Complete Story - Presents a clear, concise, and meaningful safety story.
Who Should Participate
This award is open to anyone who uses DuPont protective garments in their daily work.
No complex process — your genuine, real-world experience matters most.
How To Participate
STEP 1: Tell Your Story
Write your story by answering the following questions:
- What materials, tasks, or hazards are involved in your work, and what safety risk did you face?
- How did you use DuPont™ Tyvek®, Tychem® or ProShield® protective garments to protect yourself or your team?
- What actions did you take, what was the outcome, and what advice would you share with others?
Note: you’re welcome to share your story in any language you’re most comfortable with.
STEP 2: Upload Supporting Materials For Your Safety Story (Images or Videos)
Upload that reflects a real safety situation. This may include:
- DuPont™ Tyvek®, Tychem® or ProShield® garments in use on site
- The working environment where the risk existed
- A moment that represents safety in action
Note: Images that are heavily edited or sourced from stock libraries will not be accepted.
