Challenges:

Everyone has some or the other hobby. Since my childhood actually, I like to spend time in nature. My outdoor activities of preference are hiking and climbing. While there is an element of peace of mind and physical well-being when you undertake these activities regularly, I often used to find my hands and palms bruised, scratched, scaled, poked, cut, and abrased. When you go hiking you take adequate care with footwear. However, I soon learned that I need special protection for my hands when I face landslides, steep slopes, abseiling, and rock climbing. Many times, I also encounter shrubs, sharp branches, and various thorns that cause injuries to my hands…

Solution:

For the longest time in the past, most hikers and climbers ignored hand protection. My hands were scratched or cut many times in outdoor activities, and there were callouses and painful injuries too… One day I said enough is enough and set out to find the best hand protection.

I had heard about Kevlar® gloves before. Being aware of these professional hand protection products made of “bullet-proof fiber” in the industrial field, I wanted to wear them for my outdoor activities.

The first time I used gloves made with Kevlar® was for the 20-kilometer single-day hiking line in Fujian province. A tough hike, one encounters almost all the risks mentioned above. Wearing gloves made with Kevlar® was the best decision for this hike! First of all, the gloves are non-slip and it's easy to hold a trekking pole. Secondly, the versatile use of gloves is that you can push through the thorns, shrubs, and branches with your hands, and even protect your face! 

During the trek, there is a short distance where I have to climb using my hands, by firmly grasping the edges and protrusions of the rock.
